Welcome back!

What's new in this week's release:

  • From February 1st onwards, Gmail and Yahoo have implemented stricter rules for senders of bulk mailings. You may have already read more about this in our previous release notes, our blog, and on our support portal. With this release, Deployteq will perform additional validation on the sender's email address. If email authentication with DKIM is not properly configured on your domain, Deployteq will display an error message in the email settings. In this case, it is important to add information to the DNS of the domain to facilitate DKIM signing. The necessary information can be found in this manual.
  • Do you use Facebook Lead Ads in your campaigns? The current Facebook API version 16 will no longer be supported from February 6, 2024. This version needs to be upgraded to at least version 18 to ensure correct operation. If you use Lead Ads forms that fall under the pages of an external business account, Facebook requires that your permissions be re-established. To facilitate this, we made a change in our database last week. As a result of this change, you will need to re-authenticate the existing Facebook integration in your Deployteq account before February 6. If you have not received the email explaining this, please contact our Support department.

  • The Smarty upgrade announced earlier via email for this week has been postponed due to unforeseen errors. It is expected that this upgrade will be included in next week's release. We will keep you updated on this through the release notes.

We need you!

  • Join us for the Community roundtable sessions! During such a session, we want to discuss the following points during an interactive discussion:

    • Feedback on the recently redesigned Community section on the Support Portal. We would like to hear from you what additions you would like to see in our Community!

    • Feedback on the manuals: preferences and suggestions for manual formats (video, text, combination, another format?). Do you have examples of manuals that work well for you?

    • What are your training needs? In addition to our classroom basic and advanced training, we also offer e-learning. What are your wishes in this area?

    • Quick poll: how do you search for information when you don't know something? What steps do you take, and do you know where to look? How can we make this process easier for you?

    • What kind of support do you need in using Deployteq? What would help you?

  • In short, we need your input to further improve our service. The next roundtable sessions are coming Thursday, February 8 and on Wednesday, March 6 at our office in Huis ter Heide. Sign up here and join the discussion!

  • Have you voted yet? In the Deployteq Community, you can find a list of feature requests that were made by your fellow Deployteq-users. Implementation priority will be given to requests that have a high number of votes. Come take a look and vote!
